In futuristic settings, especially dystopian ones like cyberpunk, there may still be a range of foods available, but some of these will be cheap, perhaps not very healthy and often made from much easier to obtain things than what is normally seen. This supplement has 100 such foodstuffs to find; some may come with integral heaters to heat them up before eating and many could be found in vending machines.

This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier.

Here are some sample results:

  • Hot Bombs: Small, spherical, crunchy soya snacks with a liquid filling; the liquid is an extremely hot chilli-like substance, though it contains no chillies.
  • I-Mash: Looks similar to mashed potatoes, though made from insect protein that has been bulked out and flavoured.
  • Jammy Bites: Two cheap white crackers that have a red, jam-like substance sandwiched between them. The jam is made from gelatine and is coloured and flavoured to resemble things such as lime, raspberry, blackberry and strawberry.
  • JellyPots: Coloured and flavoured gelatine enriched with insect protein and a lot of sweetener. Eaten as a filling desert.
  • Jerki: Sold in a manner similar to bags of meat-based jerky, except this jerky is made from processed insect protein that is otherwise cooked the same way.

Pages 3 and 4 can be printed on a single sheet of paper. They contain everything you need (other than a copy of the Savage Worlds core rules) to play Interstellar Rebels as a micro-setting.

2. Base Assault

Pages 5 and 6 can be printed on another sheet of paper. They provide an example adventure which you can run either with or without a GM.

3. Solo Rules

Pages 7 and 8 can be printed on yet another sheet of paper. They offer an optional set of guidelines for playing without a GM, although the tables may also be of interest for group play. If you're completely new to solo roleplaying and looking for advice or tips, I recommend joining the Lone Wolf Roleplaying and Mythic Game Master Emulator Discord communities.

4. Pregenerated Characters
